We take great pleasure in introducing our school to you. We are lucky enough to have very special young people that come to Abbey, all of which have a Education, Health Care Plan. Lots of our young people have difficulties in learning and we pride ourselves on supporting each of them in the best possible way so that they achieve their full potential.

Witherslack Group is made up of a cast of thousands, whether it be the teaching, care or therapy staff or the children, young people and their families. Everyone plays their part as they all combine to realise life changing moments and endless stories of success.

Al-Mahad-Al-Islami School is an independent Muslim girls school in Sheffield. It is for girls aged 11 to 17 years. There are about 75 pupils on roll.

Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form are based in Derbyshire. We are close to the towns of Matlock, Belper and Wirksworth and the diverse cities of Derby and Sheffield. Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form is an independent school for day and residential students aged 5 to 20 years with Autism and Developmental Language Disorder. Placements are funded by local authorities and our students come from all over the UK. We offer a range of flexible placement options including day, weekly, term time and 52 week residential placements.

At Anston Brook Primary, we want all of our pupils to be able to make the most of their education and know that they are a valuable member of the school community, regardless of their particular needs. We give pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) the support that they need, along with a broad and balanced curriculum. We work closely with families to help their children succeed and go on to the next stage of their education with confidence. We aim high with our SEND pupils and we expect their results to be better than the national average.

Anston Greenlands Primary School strives to be as inclusive as it possibly can, welcoming all children and families. Our high expectations for all pupils extends to just that – ALL pupils. Every child is different – every child is special. We are committed to inclusion and are respected in the community for an ethos in which we see all our children as unique individuals with varied needs and abilities. We work collaboratively as a staff team and alongside external professionals to enable each child to achieve. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum which incorporates equal opportunities for all children.

Anston Hillcrest Primary School is a mainstream primary school nursery and resourced provision in South Anston. It is a member of the James Montgomery Academy Trust. It is for children aged 3 to 11 years old. It has 14 specialist places for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). There are about 240 children on roll.

Anston Park Infant school is a very warm and welcoming school with a real 'family' feel, where the staff are dedicated to providing a stimulating exciting environment where everyone feels valued and safe, ideas can flourish and children can realise their full potential. Our stimulating, exciting curriculum means children are motivated to learn with memorable first hand experiences. We build on what children know and enthuse in all children a love of learning as well as respect and care for each other.

Anston Park Junior School is a place where children are encouraged to be the best that they can be and to realise their own potential. Our philosophy is built on the solid foundations of positive relationships with children, and we aim to provide the very best teaching. Our school values encompass the 6 ‘R’s, and we strive for our children to become reflective, respectful, resourceful, resilient, be good at building and forming relationships, as well as possess the ability to take calculated risks in life.

The school provides a well designed curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant to each individual child and places the needs of the individual child centrally. Pupils follow either an EYFS, informal or semi-formal pathway. The work of school staff is supported and complemented by a broad range of additional colleagues from the local authority and NHS for example to provide a rich provision that takes into account individual needs: the multi-agency working underpins the successes of the school.
