As part of our new Early Help Strategy: Family Help in Rotherham 2024-2029 and delivery plan, we want to hear from families about how we can make sure they get the right help, at the right time, and in an easy way.
This will contribute to our phase one consultation and our vision for Family Help in Rotherham “for all agencies to work together to ensure that children, young people, and families have their needs identified early so that they can receive swift access to targeted help and support”.
Our partnership strategy sets out three stages of support for children, young people, and families:
- Universal and Community Family Help (services available to all such as schools, NHS, Family Hubs in Children’s Centres, Community organisations)
- Focused Family Help (additional support such as parenting intervention, mental health support, targeted youth services, housing, and employment)
- Specialist Family Help (statutory services to children and their families where children and young people need a high level of support or may be experiencing or likely to suffer significant harm)
We want to hear from families who have used services across the three stages of support about
- where they would go,
- what type of support they would like, and
- what made a difference (when they have needed help and support).
We would also like to hear about any good experiences and suggestions for improvements.
There are 6 questions to complete and it should take about 5 or 10 minutes to complete.
