A partnership project involving 12 voluntary and community sector organisations across Rotherham with the aim of increasing employability skills.
Rotherham Parents Carers Forum and Rotherham Adult Neurodiversity Support Service are offering a service for children and young people alongside their Parent Carers if required) who are aged 14 to 25 who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and neurodiverse adults aged 18+ who are currently looking for support to get into education, training or employment.
You will work with one of our project advisors and they will help you to think about your aspirations and interests.
We will then work with the partner organisations within the project and support you to find and access any of the following with a view to helping you achieve your goals.
- CV development
- Employability and skills programmes - including catering, food safety skills
- Functional skills training including digital literacy
- Interview preparation including mock interviews
- Life skills programme
- Outdoor activities
- Well-being programmes
- Work insight videos, visits
- Volunteering and work placements
This will bring a host of benefits including connecting you to others, reducing isolation, advancing your employment and career opportunities and allowing you to try new things in a safe and supportive environment.
