From the 15th September 2020 all new referrals will be opened on the Hub, following the 20-week statutory process and we are currently developing the Rotherham EHC Hub to manage all annual reviews which will be launched at a later date.
Rotherham Council is partnering with Idox’s Open Objects to rollout the new Rotherham EHC Hub – a secure online platform that manages all aspects of the EHC process.
The Hub will help in the Council’s aim to create a person-centred approach for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and support better collaboration between professionals and families, and enabling information sharing at each stage – from the 20-week assessment and planning pathway, through to EHC Plans and reviews.
Most importantly, the Hub will help us to deliver positive outcomes for the child or young person at the heart of the process in a more transparent way.
The Hub will be used by everyone who contributes to EHCs – including children and young people, parents and carers, schools, health and other professionals.
All new referrals will be opened on the Hub, following the 20-week statutory process and we are currently developing the Rotherham EHC Hub to manage all annual reviews which will be launched at a later date.
To protect personal data, new security features are built-in to the new hub, including a verification check by phone. Access to the system is via a two-factor authentication process, similar to the systems used by on-line banking.
If you have any problems accessing the new hub, or have any further questions please contact the Council’s EHCP Team by email on email@example.com
